Monarch Butterfly Public Lectures at Yakima Valley College

7pm- There will be two lectures, one on each day. One lecture will go over the biology and conservation of Monarch butterflies in the Pacific Northwest by Dr. David James. The second will go over "The Monarch Butterfly In Mexico: More Than A Migration" by Dr. Javier Ponce. Celebrating the annual voyage of the Monarch butterfly in its migration, traveling south for the winter and north for the spring and summer. The lectures will be in the Yakima Valley College’s Deccio Higher Ed Center, Building 8, Parker Room. The lectures are free and open to the public.
